The first step is already well underway: the creation of
a forest at the heart of a landlocked Sahelian region in
highly degraded soils. It is created to become the basis
of a sustainable lifestyle, a local biodiversity and an
exemplary and replicable reserve. To meet this challenge
original permaculture techniques are used. Some twelve
thousand plants are being planted this year with a
projected doubling the following year. |
